Roxana Moișanu started her piano and harp studies at the age of 12, at the "George Enescu" Music High School in Bucharest and graduated from the National University of Music studying with Ph.D. Ion Ivan Roncea.
Laureate of many national harp competitions, Roxana has a rich solo and chamber music activity. Roxana’s first solo concert abroad took place in 1994 at the Romanian Cultural Centre in Paris and in 1997, she was awarded the Excellence Prize of the Interpreters, Choreographers and Musical Experts Union along with the Olympic Prize.
Roxana is the Founder President of the Romanian Harpists Association and in 2016 she becomes co-organiser for the Bucharest Harp Festival, together with the National University of Music Bucharest. In 2018 she was appointed as official correspondent of Romania and Moldavia, for the World Harp Congress Review.
Currently, Roxana is Principal Harp of the National Opera Orchestra of Bucharest, where she has been working for over 21 years. She is a member of the World Harp Congress, the Romanian Harpists Association, UCMR-ADA Romania, CREDIDAM, duo Cell’Arpa (with cellist Mladen Spasinovici) and Artistic Director of the Bucharest Harp Festival.
